Goseokjeong Flower Garden: Plan an Autumn Escape to Cheorwon

Autumn travel in Korea can mean more than palace visits in Seoul. If you are considering Cheorwon, Goseokjeong Flower Garden is a seasonal stop to research before setting your route.

The official autumn 2026 season is August 28–October 31. The garden lists 9 a.m.–7 p.m. opening hours, a 6 p.m. ticket-sales cutoff and Tuesday closures. Weather, flower conditions and seasonal notices can change your plans, so check your actual travel date.

A local voucher is not a lower ticket price

A standard individual adult ticket costs KRW 10,000 and comes with a KRW 5,000 Cheorwon local voucher. You still pay the full ticket price at admission. The voucher is separate and is not a cash refund.

For two standard adults, budget KRW 20,000 for admission and expect KRW 10,000 in vouchers in total. Transport, parking, food and optional activities are additional. Ask vendors about voucher acceptance before ordering.

Three checks before leaving

  1. Check the weekday: Tuesdays are regularly closed. Do not assume a public holiday automatically creates an exception.
  2. Check the year: older shuttle and night-opening notices may describe 2025. Confirm a notice for your 2026 visit rather than copying an old timetable.
  3. Check the flowers: cosmos and pink muhly appear in the official planting list, but that does not prove they are both at their peak on your date.

Build a comfortable itinerary

Search for the Korean name 고석정 꽃밭 and compare your destination with the map linked by Cheorwon County. Wear comfortable shoes, pack water and sun protection, and leave time to rest. If you rely on public transport, verify the return journey as carefully as the outward journey.

This is a planning introduction based on official information checked September 20, 2026, not a first-hand visit report. Current parking availability, shuttle times and bloom percentages have not been verified. The official fee section says 2026 but retains an older table caption, so confirm any updated on-site notice.
